Thank God we scored 47 points in the first half; otherwise we would have lost 6-0! Just kidding!!!!! Victory is the sweetest when it comes with your friends! What a difference a week makes! We have a true freshman quarterback that is a stud. He can run and pass with precision. Our defense spent the entire night in FIU’s backfield. Our kicker put three in the endzone. On a night where even Salim Simson saw a great deal of playing time, we are quick to forget last weeks game. This is the display that we expected this season from our team. An offense that moves the ball at will and a defense that can stop the run. I will savor the victory this evening and then wonder why I don’t recover like I used to.
